SSO login renders the wrong timezone for members with the contributor role

Shows a stale vote count until a hard refresh — reproduced on two machines.

Expected: the SSO login keeps its state. Actual: it never clears the loading spinner.

    Thanks for the detailed repro — that made this much faster to track down. It would pay for itself in the first month.

    Not sure this is worth the complexity for how rarely it comes up.
