Why we rebuilt the roadmap around votes
A roadmap nobody voted on is a wish list. Here's what changed and what it cost us.

Our old roadmap was a board the team dragged cards across. It looked organised and told users nothing.
The new one is derived from the feedback itself:
- Every roadmap card points back at the item people voted for
- Shipping the item moves the card and notifies the voters
- Nothing reaches the roadmap without a public trail
The cost is real — you can no longer quietly add work users never asked for. That turned out to be the point.
